Five years ago I was searching how to make money online. I knew about eBay, who doesn't right? I came across AliExpress and was astonished to find this site where everything was so cheap. A light bulb light up inside my head. "That's it!" I exclaimed.
So I made my first purchase with the intent to resell these on eBay. I bought 200 iPhone 5 screen protectors for only $70 with free shipping. That's .35 cents a piece. I was gonna make a killing! I couldn't wait to get my package and start making money.
5 long weeks later my package finally arrived. I was anxious to get started. I ripped open my package and inspected my new cash cow. These are great I thought.
I took the best pictures that I knew how to at the time, uploaded them onto my computer, and logged into my eBay account. I was ready. I wanted to model similar listings so I did a quick search. What I found next shocked me. I found literally hundreds of listings with the EXACT same screen protectors for sale. Not only that, but they were being sold for less than I actually paid for mine.
I was crushed! Obviously, my first mistake was not researching my market prior to jumping in guns blazing. I'll never do that again, but the real problem was that the market was completely saturated with these and many other items from AliExpress.
I decided to keep going with eBay and I spent the next three years going to yard sales, auctions, and scouring the clearance sections of stores looking for product to sell on eBay. Mostly selling vintage, collectibles, and antiques. I learned alot about the process and made pretty good money doing it. My best months I profited roughly $1000. That's great considering I was working a full time job as well and only devoted about 15 hours a week to my eBay store. I mean, I could only go to so many yard sales and auctions in a week.
There had to be a better way! I knew I was missing something. So, I started searching again and finally found what it was that I was missing. I found this massive list of suppliers who would ship the item to my customer for me...after it was already sold and after I had already been paid for it. It almost sounded too good to be true. These are known as dropshippers (I'll get more into that later).

Naturally, I gave it a shot. This was nearly 2 yeas ago and I have since then quit my job and now run a very successful eCommerce business.

They will usually reply within 24 hours (during the business week) with a list of suppliers and recommendations. No other supplier directory does that! They even have a huge forum that is very active. It is one of the biggest buyer/seller forums on the internet. If you have a question, ask it on there - people reply really fast and are very friendly.
SaleHoo has an Innovative Research Lab
This is something really amazing - they have a great feature called the Research Lab. They track the items that are selling the best on eBay and they tell you what they are. This means that you can basically guarantee success by only picking items that sell well! It also includes other important information like the best time to start and finish auctions for particular items. The Research Lab has helped me not waste money on items that won’t sell - and it has helped me choose winners! I highly recommend SaleHoo for this feature alone.
SaleHoo Doesn’t Teach you How to use eBay
They dont do everything for you. SaleHoo doesn’t include absolutely everything you need to get started in selling items on eBay if you are just getting started. If you are a complete newby, you're gonna need some training. SaleHoo won’t teach you how to write effective sales copy, or how to have that secret hook that successful sellers like me use to make six figures a year off of eBay.

Conclusion - Should you Buy, or Not?
Should you buy SaleHoo? If you have a desire to make money from home with little startup costs, then my answer is a resounding YES! They have over 8,000 suppliers (wholesalers, dropshippers, manufacturers, and liquidators). They are legitimate and the lowest price that I could find. Their support staff is the best in the industry and they even tell you which products are the best to sell and which ones aren’t selling, saving you money...and time.
